B-Security is looking for an Officer on Duty.

Are you process-oriented, procedurally tactical and want to provide operational leadership to all international MARC staff? The Duty Officer is the first point of contact for the Manager MARC, Director and the Basic-Fit Manager on Duty. You will coordinate internationally the 24/7 work of the Supervisors in charge of the substantive implementation of the international MARC Safety file. B-Securité’s control room, also known as Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre (MARC), is equipped with high-end technology, such as aggression detection, peoplecount following COVID-19, accident detection and high-end analysis tools. The MARC has been specially organised for the Basic-Fit safety chain as a Business Alarm Centre (BAC). The MARC chain consists of intelligent cameras and detection with the latest communication technology. Currently, over 1,300 Basic-Fit sports clubs across Europe are ‘live’ connected. This modus operandi allows B-Securité’s MARC to effectively and efficiently secure affiliated Basic-Fit sports clubs, provide customer service, investigative work and project live camera surveillance at Basic-Fit’s request.

What do you do as a Duty Officer?

  • The Duty Officer internationally coordinates the 24/7 work of the Supervisors in charge of
    are with the substantive implementation of the international MARC Safety dossier.
  • In the event of calamities in one or more Basic-Fit sports clubs, the Duty Officer directs the progress of
    the contingency/work in the relevant MARC. With that, the Duty Officer takes charge
    and is thus the first person responsible for the business process.
  • The Officer on Duty acts in line with the established or changed priorities and policy choices of
    the B-Security Executive Board and Manager MARC.
  • The Duty Officer, in consultation with the Executive Board and Manager MARC, may represent B-Security in
    consultation structures/committees.
  • The Duty Officer shall ensure proper operational international 24/7 service transfer and
    The collaboration perspective in the international Basic-Fit collaboration chain.
  • The Duty Officer is the first point of contact for the Basic-Fit Manager on Duty during the 24/7 shift.
  • The Duty Officer is operationally and tactically responsible for adequate
    task performance of the international working group in the Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centers.
  • The Officer on Duty supervises during 24/7 and, if necessary, sets frameworks for proper
    service direction for on-duty Supervisors in the international MARCs.
  • The Duty Officer sets operational priorities and cuts corners where necessary on
    international level.
  • The Duty Officer has “feel” for quality issues, EN and ISO standards and the
    decisive international implementation thereof.
  • The Duty Officer internationally fosters an atmosphere of trust in which team members
    daring to make themselves vulnerable among themselves and setting an example in this.

 

What makes an Officer on Duty?

  •  College education;
  •  European management course;
  •  Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience at the tactical and operational level;
  •  International leadership experience is a plus;
  •  Maintains an overview under stressful conditions;
  •  Forms opinions based on observations and estimates risks.

        weeks based on 38 hours;
