B-Security is seeking All-round Observer Centralists.
As an All-round Observer Centralist at B-Security, you will be an important extension of the Basic-Fit sports clubs in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain and Germany. The essence of your work lies in “observing and providing service,” as well as reviewing incoming and outgoing information coming from the Basic-Fit sports clubs. You will also act as a mentor for the ((Aspirant)) Observer Centralists.

B-Securité’s control room, also known as Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre (MARC), is equipped with high-end technology, such as aggression detection, peoplecount following COVID-19, accident detection and high-end analysis tools. The MARC has been specially organised for the Basic-Fit safety chain as a Business Alarm Centre (BAC). The MARC chain consists of intelligent cameras and detection with the latest communication technology. Currently, over 1,300 Basic-Fit sports clubs across Europe are ‘live’ connected. This modus operandi allows B-Securité’s MARC to effectively and efficiently secure affiliated Basic-Fit sports clubs, provide customer service, investigative work and project live camera surveillance at Basic-Fit’s request.
What does a day look like as an All-round Observer Centralist?
Your day will revolve around work instructions and independently plotting out actions and supervising your assigned (Aspirant) Observer Centralist. During your work and supervision, you will take care of forwarding and monitoring actions set out, including covering to police, fire and ambulance deployment. You ensure that follow-up is done within the prescribed time. You will record and document reports and related information.
What makes an All-round Observer Centralist?
- You have at least a mbo diploma for Security Officer level 2, preferably Basic Centralist Alarm Training or Professional Centralist Alarm Training. Or you have or are willing to obtain an equivalent degree;
- You have experience within the security sector;
- You have work experience in a call centre, an emergency call centre or making business phone calls;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages. French, Spanish and/or German is a plus
- You are available for a minimum of 24 hours a week;
- You are willing to work day, evening and night shifts, including weekends, holiday periods and public holidays;
- You have experience with Word, Outlook, and Salesforce is a plus and you have good typing skills;
- You are energetic, enthusiastic and communicative;
- You are results-oriented and decisive;
- You are a finisher, work in a structured way and deliver quality;
- You live in the Amsterdam / Hoofddorp area.
The offer.
- Je start met een jaarcontract. If you perform well after two years of training, you will be given a permanent contract and possible advancement opportunities will be discussed;
- A starting salary of €2,432.64 to €3,432.55 gross (depending on experience and competences) per 4 weeks based on 38 hours, excluding irregularity and weekend allowances. It is also possible to work 24 hours;
